61st Meeting of ISO/TC 45 - Rubber and Rubber Products

61st Meeting of ISO/TC 45 - Rubber and Rubber Products, to be held on 28 October to 1 November 2013 in Bali, Indonesia

ISO/TC 45 Rubber & Rubber products was established in 1947 as one of original Technical Committees been established in the ISO. The scope is “Standardization of terms and definitions, test methods and specifications for rubber in any form, rubber products (including their dimensional tolerances) and major rubber compounding ingredients”.

Malaysia is holding both the Secretariat and Chairmanship. TC45 is formed by four Subcommittees (SC) and two Working Groups (WG).

For SC1 Hoses (rubber and plastics), Malaysia is holding the Secretariat and UK holds the Chairmanship. There are four WGs in SC1.

For SC2 Testing and analysis. Japan is holding both the Secretariat and Chairmanship. There are six WGs in SC2.

For SC3 Raw materials (including latex) for use in the rubber industry, France and Brazil are holding the Secretariat and Italy the Chairmanship. There are five WGs in SC3.

For SC4 Products ( other than hoses). Malaysia is holding both the Secretariat and Chairmanship. There are seven active WGs in SC4.

WG10 Terminology, USA is holding the convenorship.

WG19 Environmental aspects, UK is holding the convenorship.
